James KastlerJames Kastler - Director
James Kastler has been directing South Florida Jubilee since May 1999. Over the years, James has led the chorus to several small chorus awards, including 1st place in the small chorus division and 4th place overall in the 2007 Regional Competition. James has been actively involved in church and college choirs and musical theater. As a member of the international Barbershop Harmony Society, James sings with the Fort Lauderdale Sunshine Chordsmen and sings tenor with the 2006 Sunshine District Quartet Champions, HotShots.

As a member of Sweet Adeline Internationalís Region 9 education faculty, James also offers coaching to various quartets and individuals.

A 1996 graduate of the University of Missouri ñ Rolla, James holds a BS in Electrical Engineering and a minor in music. He received an MS in Industrial Engineering from the University of Florida in 2000 and currently works in Sunrise, FL as an electrical engineer.

Chelsea YoungChelsea Young - Assistant Director
Chelsea Young joined Sweet Adelines in 1989 after seeing a poster, which read "Do You Like To Sing"? The rest is history! She has harmonized all her life and comes from a family of singers, but wait - did you know her maiden name is "Singer"? She currently serves as a member of the Educational Faculty and as the Rising Star Coordinator for Region 9 and has been a member of the Regional Management team. She has belonged to three other choruses serving as Lead and Tenor Section Leader as well as on management and marketing teams. She is the assistant director for the South Florida Jubilee Chorus. Professionally, she works as an Account Manager for Southern Business Communications (SBC), an A/V equipment reseller. She and her husband Jim enjoy sailing.
